The internet provides an abundance of easy access to information. There are plenty of places to learn about social finance topics. Some of my favorites are online courses, Youtube videos, and articles.
Online courses are a great way to learn about social finance and earn certifications. Certifications are great to display on your LinkedIn to demonstrate proficient knowledge in an area. The Corporate Finance Institute offers an accessible Introduction to ESG course. They also offer courses on other finance topics like cryptocurrency, investment banking, credit, and more. Coursera is another great online course resource. Coursera offers courses on finance and other topics. They offer plenty of courses from established universities like Yale University, Rice University, and more. Forage is a great resource for learning skills in finance areas as well. They offer courses created by established institutions like JP Morgan Chase, Citi Banking, and Bank of America.
Also, Youtube is a great place to watch educational videos. There are so many channels that teach financial concepts. Just search for topics you're interested in like Social Finance, Green Investing, or anything. But, be careful because some people aren't trustworthy and just want to take money from you. They typically offer an online course that guarantees you become rich. If it seems too good to be true it probably is.
Lastly, there are plenty of articles about social finance you can find from a quick google search or looking through newspaper archives. The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and more offer articles and resources to learn from. Financitive also offers articles written by students that teach social finance in short bite-sized readings.
There is so much information to learn on the internet. Explore what you're interested in and if you ever need help ask an executive at Financitive. We are always willing to help. Have fun learning!
